WEEKLY PHOTO: Yaezakura Multi-layered Cherry Blossoms

Unlike other types of cherry blossoms, yaezakura are strong and aren’t easily blown away by the wind. Yaezakura have large flowers with thick pink petals. They bloom 3 to 4 weeks later than most five-petal variety of cherry blossoms.
