I decided to visit Chidorigafuchi before I headed home last week since it’s just a few minutes away from my office. Located in the center of Tokyo, near the Imperial Palace Garden, Chidorigafuchi is perhaps the most beautiful place to see cherry blossoms in Tokyo.
Start your walk from Kudanshita Station and follow the signs to Chidorigafuchi. When you exit the train station, you might confuse Kitanomaru Park with Chidorigafuchi during the cherry blossom season.
Nevertheless, before heading to Chidorigafuchi, why not explore the Kitamaru Park first since this is where the iconic Nippon Budokan Building is located. The Nippon Budokan might possibly become the host for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Judo Event.

The closest train station upon reaching the end is the Hanzomon Station. Just follow the map at the intersection on how to get to the Hanzomon Station.
